This 522-bed teaching hospital is a level I adult and level II pediatric trauma center. It specializes in behavioral health, burn treatments, diabetes and endocrinology, gynecology, labor and delivery, obstetrics, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, radiology, rehab, and urology. It also provides a high level of critical care to patients of all ages, including neonates, who are treated in its 40-bed level III NICU. This hospital has also been lauded for its refugee women?s clinic, which provides discrete, culturally-sensitive care to women of the diverse refugee communities in and around Phoenix.
