This 461-bed level II trauma center and Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center has been designated both a Magnet facility and a Baby-Friendly hospital. It was ranked the #2 hospital in South Carolina by the U.S. News and World Report in 2016, and was declared ?high performing? for its treatment of COPD and heart failure, as well as knee replacement, hip replacement, and colon cancer procedures. This hospital is also equipped to transport severely ill patients via emergency helicopter and to care for unstable neonates in its level II NICU. It is located just south of Greenville, SC, less than three hours from Columbia, SC, Augusta, GA, and Atlanta, GA.
