Endoscopy RNs assist physicians in using the endoscope to get an inside look at the lining of the esophagus, stomach and intestines. The endoscopy RN also assists in gathering samples during procedures, and treating non-critical problems. A skilled Endoscopy nurse will treat patients of all ages and see a range in severity of illness, from very minor to critically ill. Endoscopy nurses are often expected to have previous hospital experience in medical-surgical, pediatric, or critical care units. Time management and critical thinking skills are essential in Endoscopy, as well as excellent technical skills.

The estimated weekly gross pay is based on the specified number hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Traveler eligibility is subject to company policy, as well as additional regulations and laws.
