The Dialysis RN provides individualized care to renal patients, ensuring that dialysis equipment is working properly. The ideal dialysis RN must be able to consult with doctors regarding a patient's overall treatment plan, lab values and physical and mental condition, as well as alert the physician and dialysis team, should the patient's condition change in any way. Providing motivation to the patient, along with education on healthy lifestyles and disease management is a major component of this job. It is preferable to have several years of nursing experience before pursuing this specialization.

The estimated weekly gross pay is based on the specified number hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Traveler eligibility is subject to company policy, as well as additional regulations and laws.
